Heidi and I had talked about how I think Luther throughout the book holds good character and seems to have a “good head on his shoulders”. I think that Luther has had some struggles in life and has not always been treated how he should but in these times he still maintains a good strong character.
We had also talked about Luther not having a good relationship with his mother and how she did not treat him the best. I think Luther understands that she is his mom and you are supposed to love a mom no matter what, but he seems to have had enough with her and her abuse towards him. Me and Heidi had talked about how Luther and Sparky have a good relationship. They are good friends but sometimes they envy each other which doesn’t always sound healthy. They both want the life of the other, but they get along well and understand one another.
In the end I feel as though Luther has a good head on his shoulders and he wants whats best for himself and others. He feels as though he will go on with his life and not live in the past and maybe he can even make a difference in the world or help more people.
